Hi, I'm Mochi Dryad
Welcome to MochiiPetServices!

Nice to meet you! My name is Mochi Dryad, my pronouns are they/them and fae/faer but you're welcome to call me by name if you'd like. I built this website from scratch so if there's anything that needs to be addressed please let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I physically can.
I provide Pet Walks, Pet/Plant Drop-Ins, and Pet/Plant Sitting. I work as part-time Event Staff/Security with Allied Universal and a part-time Dollar Tree Associate. Having a variety of jobs keeps my abilities and mind sharp.
Through working with me, you will find that I'm highly adaptable and capable of providing quality services to keep you and your animal companion happy. I'm budget friendly, just let me know the rates that would work for you!
Below are 3 mini paragraphs, each showing my childhood and experiences that pushed me to strive to appreciate life, grow as a person, and create this website where I truly became financially independent.
MochiiPetServices began mainly as an interest, a potential stable point where I can provide services to a wide variety of living beings. I've loved life since I was a young child, I would always step carefully around dandelions to avoid stepping on bees and would try to catch grasshoppers with my hands. My mother gave me a sense of love for life, as she taught me to be cautious of hurting it. I grew up with two dogs, one beautiful malamute named Angel and the most gentle soul of a mixed breed named Sobe. They had both passed by the time I turned 10, but sometimes I felt like they raised me better than my parents did.
Moving forward in life, to when I began doing pet sitting, drop-ins, and walks; I found Wag! and Rover as pet caregiving apps at 16 years old. Sadly I had to wait 2 years to qualify, but I waited until the time came and applied the moment I turned 18. After my background check went through I jumped fully into providing pet sitting and walking services. I watched like a hawk scanning for work, providing very thorough reports and 1-2 photos per service provided. It would have been repetitive if I hadn't enjoyed providing those services, but it truly was nice to care for other people's pets.
I myself have Cora, a green-cheeked conure, Kauri, a green budgie, Bean, an american guinea pig, Orchid, a lavender corn snake, and Munchkin, my chocolate york cat you see in the photo above. They've made me strive to put myself out there and pour love into my interests and beliefs. This website and business has made me feel a lot fuller of a person. The ability to touch the lives of others by being in it makes everything feel brighter and more colorful.
If you or anyone you know needs someone to provide pet services for any reason (vacation, working, or anything else) please reach out to me by text at 503-961-5125. My phone currently has a broken mic, but I'll be getting that fixed by the end of May 2025.
*Fae/faer is a neopronoun, neopronouns are a category of new (neo) pronouns that are increasingly used in place of “she,” “he,” or “they” when referring to a person.
