Terms and Conditions Agreement

Please read this Terms and Conditions Agreement carefully. By using this website and the services listed (pet/plant sitting, pet/plant drop-ins, and pet walks) you agree to be bound by all terms and conditions of this agreement. This includes using all of my services through Rover.

MochiiPetServices has the right to change the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement at any point by posting these changes directly to this website. MochiiPetServices will notify you through a revised date and time at the top of this Terms and Agreement and if you ask for future reference, they can also send a message about the updated Terms and Conditions Agreement. By using this website you are following such revisions. It is recommended you check the Terms and Conditions Agreement before each booking to ensure you understand the terms and conditions governing use of MochiiPetServices. If you do not agree to this Agreement (including referenced policies and guidelines), please immediately terminate your use of this website and their services.

Trust

  1. You, the buyer of these services, do swear that if you lie about any information you provide (your pets weight, breed, age, species, non-domesticated, feral, or personality traits such as level of pulling, energy levels, level of aggression, and sensitivities such as loud noises) that MochiiPetServices are not liable for any mistakes caused by such misinformation. These mistakes include a pet being lost due to pulling at a level higher than marked as safe with MochiiPetServices (if you choose to get your pet’s pull level evaluated by MochiiPetServices during a test walk you need to come along in case of emergency. If your pet pulls beyond MochiiPetServices control the leash might end up escaping their grasp). MochiiPetServices does not walk untamed and/or aggressive pets. It’s okay if they’re aggressive around other dogs as long as they remain accurate towards the pull chart. You could be charged if there's proof confirmed by a doctor and/or photo if they have any injuries caused by caregiving for your pet. If MochiiPetServices leaves your residence harmed in any way, such as colorful bruises, blood loss, if they faint from blood loss or an attack, any bone dislocations, bone fractures, bone breaking, nerve damage, bruising and swelling, concussions, bitten, hair ripped out, and gashes deep enough to cause blood loss beyond that of a shallow scratch of about 3 inches in length, to something over 3 inches in length and/or deep enough to cause blood loss a band aid won’t fix, ect. then the pricing based on severity is rated at the bottom of this terms and conditions agreement.

  2.  MochiiPetServices does not hold themselves liable for not walking your pet because you were dishonest about having a prepared harness and leash for your pet that fits your pet tight enough to where they wouldn't escape but they wouldn't be in pain either. This also applies for a leash that is under 4 feet long, thin like string, and/or frayed. If your leash is shorter than 4 feet you and MochiiPetServices have already communicated the reason. MochiiPetServices will not walk your pet if you use a face harness or muzzle on your pet. 

Circumstance

  1. MochiiPetServices is not liable for dangers in your neighborhood such as glass. They watch out for all dangers but that doesn't mean injuries won't happen by accident.

  2.  If you are unable to physically be with your pet when MochiiPetServices has completed booked services for the days agreed and listed and you need an extension, as long as you communicate it at least one day priorand they’ve vocalized availability through their booking calendar found on MochiiPetServices website, your pet can get extended care. You will be charged an extension fee based on information found in pricing. Otherwise, you can situate your pet with a different caregiver through Rover or somewhere else. After the agreed booked services and timeframe MochiiPetServices will not be responsible for your pet. Further, if your pet acts out with aggression beyond a 2/5 or hurting them more than once MochiiPetServices reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to remove your pet from MochiiPetServices care and reach out to you immediately. Regardless if you respond or not they can choose to no longer provide care to your pet and reserve the right to do so. Prior to removing a pet from the care of MochiiPetServices, they will use reasonable efforts during their normal business hours to contact you and/or your emergency contact (if provided) to arrange alternate care. Should MochiiPetServices not be able to contact you or your emergency contact, MochiiPetServices will use their best judgment to find alternative care for your pet until you are able to retrieve them. You authorize your pet’s veterinarian(s) to release your pet’s veterinary records to MochiiPetServices in connection with any such relocation of your pet. In addition, you are responsible for and agree to pay all costs and expenses incurred by MochiiPetServices in connection with such transfer. They will refund you 50% of the remaining booked days of service.

  3. You accept that if you expect MochiiPetServices to base train your pet that you will have to pay whatever is listed under pricing for the additional service. You accept that they will only oblige with a separate agreement that both parties work on together as an add-on to MochiiPetServices Terms and Conditions Agreement. They will not use shock collars but are willing to use collars that use vibration to train your pet as long as it is humane, and will check the pain level when testing the collar. If it hurts them they will not use it during a walk.

    1. Training includes having a pet sit before crossing the street and using treats as motivation for specific behaviors. MochiiPetServices free version of training is using the terms “heel” and “stop” during walks.

  4. You accept that there are exceptions to the severity chart. If the severity doesn’t go higher than a 2 and a pet caregiver a part of MochiiPetServices tried to give affection to your pet and you explicitly told them that your pet isn't comfortable with physical affection from newer people (that they will bite or attack in other ways) then you will only pay 20% the total cost. If MochiiPetServices reports a close encounter with being wounded by your pet or got wounded at a 1/5 and they communicate with you directly, you know their intentions are to avoid aggression as well as making your pet feel more comfortable. You know they aren't aiming for compensation, but that you as the owner acknowledge what your pet is doing and are trying to solve the issue. If you don't try to help solve the issue (whether through avoiding speaking about the pet’s transgressions, lack of communication, etc.) then you accept the pricing of the severity chart as follows down below.

    1. If a harness is not on your pet and they’re aggressive with new people MochiiPetServices cannot walk your pet until they are no longer aggressive after you confirm. MochiiPetServices has to be able to attach a leash, if they get hurt while doing so this can be referred to the severity chart at the bottom of this agreement if the owner does not work with them to fix the issue or the issue gets worse.

    2. If your pet is unable to be walked due to aggressive behavior with being touched then as long as your pet is at least 10 feet from the pet caregiver they will clean up after any mess as long as cleaner and towels are provided.

  5. You accept that MochiiPetServices is not able to walk any pet in pouring rain, hail, or extreme weather conditions such as a heat wave of over 85 degrees, snow, etc. to meet their physical restrictions as well as your pet's. They will not walk your pet in under 40 degree weather and over 85 degree weather regardless of your pets limits.

  6. You accept that MochiiPetServices will not care for an unvaccinated pet and if they get sick because your pet physically harms them then you will have to refer to the severity chart.

  7. You accept that MochiiPetServices may never care for your pet again on the basis of your pet harming them above a 1 depending on the circumstances and level of emotional severity which is not listed on the chart.

  8. You accept that if you’re non-responsive throughout pet/plant sitting as well as pet/plant drop-in (including drop-in add-ons) that if MochiiPetServices breaches your physical privacy regarding information they were unable to obtain such as location of cleaning supplies in case your pet makes a mess, where your pets food is, where glassware is (if needed to scoop food or anything else for your pet), etc. then you accept that this was a breach of privacy for your pets benefit. If MochiiPetServices spends over 2 hours arriving at your residence as well as during a pet walk, pet/plant drop-in, and pet/plant sitting, that you need to keep at least one roll of toilet paper stocked in case of needing the bathroom. It would also be preferred regardless of time spent at your residence in case of a bathroom emergency but isn't required.

  9. You accept that if a pet/plant drop-in lasts over an hour that MochiiPetServices needs data in order to send reports if they don’t have wifi. If you do not provide wifi for such that it will cost the amount listed in pricing per drop-in to make up for costs. If wifi is not provided for pet/plant sitting for visits that last longer than an hour, MochiiPetServices will charge the amount listed in pricing for every day without wifi pet sitting. You accept that for pet walks you will not be charged for data but will not be contacted during the walk unless through your phone number and will be reached out to immediately in case of emergency (pet lost, injured, aggressive, etc.) and will be contacted immediately after your pet is back inside your residence.

  10. During a pet walk if the rain exceeds 0.1 inches per hour you understand that the pet walk will most likely have an audio report instead of a written copy due to their phone not being waterproof. If you want a written report a bit later rather than the recording the price of walking your pet will go up by the price listed in pricing and the report may take a day or two to write down. MochiiPetServices will check the weather before a booking with a location estimate you provide to be sure you don't pay over that amount if you prefer a written report.

  11. You accept that if the temperature in your residence exceeds that of your pets limitations that they will reach out immediately with solutions as well as a warning of the risk. During drop-ins and sittings specficifically it is important to note where a heater or fan is (depending on the outside temperature) is so they can be sure your pet stays within their limitations.

Respect

  1. You accept that if you use the wrong pronouns or terms (such as man, sir, woman, chick, queen, king, girly, girl, lady, etc.) for MochiiPetServices over 4 times during one meet-up, even whilst being corrected with their pronouns, then you will no longer receive service from MochiiPetServices unless you pay the amount listed in pricing for a misgender fee. The fee goes up by the amount listed in pricing. For example: you misgender 4 times once you pay the amount listed in pricing, you do it again later you pay a price increased listed in pricing. For the first total 3 pet walks, pet/plant drop-ins, and/or pet/plant sitting you accept that you can use he/him as a substitute for MochiiPetServices if you aren’t used to they/them. The accepted terms Mochi Dryad in MochiiPetServices feels comfortable with are dude, guy, person, someone, pet caregiver, pet walker, pet sitter, and man if used androgynously (a general term and not a gendered term). You accept that you can ask about different terms without judgment as well as asking questions about Mochi Dryad's pronouns and gender identity within the bounds of respect (no calling their identities a sin, mistake, etc.). Slurs of any kind will not be tolerated, if you are not aware of what slurs are, be aware that you can contact MochiiPetServices with any question(s). They have the right to deny service to anyone, and you have the right to not book if you disagree with the anti-bigotry policy. 

  2. Bigotry will not be tolerated. This includes: Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, ableism, misogyny, misandry, ephebiphobia, gerontophobia, biphobia, xenophobia, antisemitism, and islamophobia. Please keep these harmful opinions to yourself.
     

Going Through Rover or Other Payments

  1. You accept that going through Rover is best for testing MochiiPetServices for a trial period and that going through this website is preferred for consistent clients. Clients that go through here also get the benefit of Star Points loyalty program as well as around 20% cheaper pricing compared to Rover.

  2. Consistent customers that go through this website are able to pay through Venmo, Paypal, Gift Cards, Credit Cards, or Debit Cards.

  3. You agree to any increased pricing based on payment choice.

  4. The money MochiiPetServices receives from Rover will most likely be less than through their website, but you would be paying around 20% more. Another important mention is that the price is custom, Rover has set prices through MochiiPetServices, however, the price changes set on MochiiPetServices will also be moved to Rover. The reason going through Rover might make you more comfortable is because it shows that I’ve been background checked. If MochiiPetServices cancels or isn’t a good fit, Rover has amazing services that can be substituted for MochiiPetServices. 

  5. Terms and Conditions for MochiiPetServices apply to pet/plant services through their Rover business. Keep in mind that you will also have to follow Rover’s Terms and Conditions when paying and booking through it.

Covid Precautions [Updated in May 2023]

  1. If you or anyone you live with is feeling sick you or them are required to wear a mask if within 5 feet of Mochi Dryad or indoors (such as coughing, heavy fatigue, fever, sneezing profusely, etc) regardless if you have covid or not. If you have a condition where you cannot wear a mask then there are restricted methods you must follow. There are two different options for this rule if you do not wear a mask (and these options have sub options):

    1. ​You can be in a different room during service visits so caregiver(s) don't have the covid risk. You can put a harness and leash on your pet and let them come inside and take your pet for a walk after you unlock the door and go into a different room.  Either that or they can put a harness and leash on your pet per your request. When they re-enter you can either leave the door unlocked or lock it temporarily until they send you a message to let them back in where you will, then you will go in a different room before sending a message stating the door is unlocked and you’re away from it. You can unharness and unleash your pet but MochiiPetServices can do so instead if you request it and your pet is not aggressive. When Mochi Dryad of MochiiPetServices re-enters you can either leave the door unlocked or lock it temporarily until they send you a message letting you know they’re ready to enter so you can let them back in once you’re in a different room. MochiiPetServices will unharness and unleash your pet or have you do it if you prefer or only remove the leash before they leave.

    2. You can open multiple windows for ventilation that Mochi Dryad can clearly see when entering your residence, and stay at least 6 feet away from each other. Either you or them can harness and leash your pet before they take them on a walk. When unlocking the door you must stay 6 feet or more away from the door when they enter, sending them a message when you are. When needing the door to be unlocked, they can send you a message when they are back and you can unlock the door and distance yourself by 6 feet at least, allowing them to re-enter with your pet or MochiiPetServices can unlock the door once you let them know you’re 6 feet away at least with your pet. Either them or you will take the harness and leash off your pet or only the leash. 

    3. Regardless of these other two scenarios you can choose whether to give MochiiPetServices’ creator a key to your residence (whether physical, pin to door code etc.) or to unlock it yourself upon their arrival. You understand that these rules are in place also for pet/plant drop-ins and pet/plant sitting, except you must be in a different room so as to not distract MochiiPetServices from caring for your pet if you’re not wearing a mask even if you keep the space ventilated. 

  2. You accept that Mochi Dryad takes public transportation and works an event staff job without wearing a mask. They make sure their friends aren't sick as an additional safety precaution. ​

  3. Masks can be worn by both Mochi Dryad and clients during meet-ups and trial caregiving days (if you're home for the trial experience) if you prefer.

Privacy Policy

By using this website all of these rules apply for both you and MochiiPetServices. MochiiPetServices can change these rules at any time and will notify you with a revision date at the top of this policy. If you are a suspect in a crime and a police officer or a government-sent agent reaches out to MochiiPetServices about information on you or any other clients this will be an exception to all privacy policy rules. (With proof that they’re a police officer or government-sent agent)

 

  1. All reports MochiiPetServices records are allowed to be shared to MochiiPetServices website (mochiipetservices.com) and facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MochiiPetServices) without any exact locations or names (no pet, person or location names unless with messaged, written with a signature, and/or video with voice recorded, consent). Photos will not be lined up with reports on MochiiPetServices website or social media unless MochiiPetServices gets messaged or written (with a signature) consent. (you can also request for MochiiPetServices to not use reports with a messaged or written message signed with a signature).

  2. All photos taken of your pets by MochiiPetServices are allowed to be used by Mochi Dryad on their website (mochiipetservices.com), Instagram page (mochiipetservices), and Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MochiiPetServices). (You can request MochiiPetServices to not use photos they took of your pets).

  3. None of your contact, location, payment, or address information (such as: email, phone number, address, key location, door codes, wifi, location, and payment information) will be added to my website and/or social media. All such information is confidential and will also not be shared to anyone other than MochiiPetServices. The only other time your address will be shared is if MochiiPetServices employee (non-applicable at the current time) or creator is getting a ride to your residence in order to provide a booked service or meet-up.

  4. Your points in MochiiPetServices’ Star Points program are confidential. 

  5. If you go through the raffle your raffle tickets will be counted and the number of people and number of raffle tickets will be public. Names will not be shared except with permission, instead code names or usernames will be used. 

  6. If Mochi Dryad believes your pet(s) are in danger based on unsanitary or unjust living conditions (cages for rabbits being extremely small, the food that is fed to your pets having a dangerous lack in nutritional value, your pet barely moving around, etc.) here are the different results of lack in communication:

    1. Mochi Dryad will first contact you about their concerns if it revolves around pet nutrition or your pet's behavior seeming unnatural (lack in walking around, high levels of anxiety and/or behaving in a dangerous manner, etc.) based on information you have provided on your pet. If you don't respond (Mochi Dryad will reach out through email, calling, and texting) within a 24 hour period Mochi Dryad will continue taking care of your pet but will reach out to your pet's vetinarian with details if your pet isn't behaving dangerously. If you don't provide vetinarian information Mochi Dryad will be contacting by phone number the closest open emergency pet hospital to your residence. If your pet's in danger as vocalized by whoever they are able to contact about your pet's condition and they are unable to bring your pet in based on behavier that is a danger to Mochi Dryad, Mochi Dryad will be forced to call animal control on your pet after leaving your residence and locking the door behind Mochi Dryad. You will not be refunded regardless of the amount of days left of pet sitting if your pet behaved dangerously as detailed in Mochi Dryad's typed report.

    2. If your pet's cage is dangerously small and your pet is also not being given the proper nutrition and/or having a lack in phyiscal movement Mochi Dryad will continue taking care of your pet. They will contact you about everything. Lack of response within a 24 hour period will result in Mochi Dryad calling an emergency pet hospital and reporting animal abuse and cruelty. Any costs Mochi Dryad endures (specifically emergency pet hospital bills or any related costs) you will need to cover. You will not be refunded regardless of the amount of days left of pet sitting.

    3. If Mochi Dryad finds that your pet isn't being the proper nutrition they will contact you immediately and ask if they can purchase said food items (for example: for rabbits - 5% of their diet is pellets, 85% is hay, and 15% is fresh veggies) for your pet. You would be covering the cost of these items as well as a 5 dollar fee for the delivery of said items to your residence which you should already have on hand. If you refuse, Mochi Dryad will continue caring for your pet regardless unless your pet exhibits signs of neglect, physical injury, nutritional deficiencies, etc in which Mochi Dryad will communicate the situation to you immediately.

 

Last names are confidential regardless of consent, they will not be shared publicly or privately to anyone other than MochiiPetServices. Names will be said with your full first name (or nickname or preferred username) and your choice of a middle name initial or last name initial, such as Mochi D. 

 

Booking

  1. Book through the service page to get the base information situated in the custom form based on the specific service. It costs nothing to fill out the form and begin your journey for consistent services through MochiiPetServices.

  2. Payment is due within 2 hours of a booking being scheduled with credit or debit cards. If through Venmo or Paypal payment must be provided 12 hours before services start. You and them must come up with flexible times or set times for the pet walk or pet/plant drop-in. Due to MochiiPetServices taking a bus, expect 20 minutes late or early, they will immediately communicate any changes in time.

  3. Tips are appreciated but not necessary, you can tip through the service page. Any tips less than 5 dollars can be sent through my Venmo which is listed under pricing, otherwise you can tip through the website service page. You can also tip through Venmo, Paypal or cash!

Cancellation Policy:

[5/26/2023] (3:20am)

MochiiPetServices can change these rules at any time and will notify you with a revision date at the top of this policy. If you cancel a service before 10pm the day before a walk or drop-in is booked for you will get a full refund. You accept all the terms of cancellation as stated below. For pet sitting the percentages of refunds are different. Both you and MochiiPetServices are liable for cancellation fees based on who cancels and the time that either party does. Both parties accept these terms as final. You also understand that if you pay through Rover you must send payment through Rover (this is through credit or debit cards). 

For walks or drop-ins between 8am-11am:

• If you cancel from (day before pet walks or drop-ins) 10:10pm-12am (day of pet walk/pet/plant drop-in) you will get an 80 percent refund of the amount you paid.

• If you cancel anywhere from (day of walks or drop-ins) 12:01am-5am you will get a 60 percent refund of the amount you paid.

• If you cancel between (day of pet walk/pet/plant drop-in) 5:01am-3 hours before the walk/drop-in you will receive a 40 percent refund.

• If you live less than an hour away from where MochiiPetServices’ creator resides based on the information they have provided then you accept that you will only receive a 30 percent refund if you cancel 2 hours and 59 minutes - 1 hour before MochiiPetServices creator leaves to your residence.​

• If you cancel 59 minutes - 20 minutes before MochiiPetServices creator leaves to your residence regardless of the time before the walk/drop-in (up to 2 hours and 20 minutes before the walk) you will receive a 20 percent refund.

• If you cancel when MochiiPetServices has already boarded the bus, you will only receive a 10 percent refund of the amount you paid regardless of the time before they will arrive. If MochiiPetServices does not share a screenshot of their Google Map within 2 hours of cancellation you will hold less responsibility because you will most likely see it as fraudulent and receive a 20 percent refund rather than 10%.

• If you cancel when MochiiPetServices creator is already at your residence and/or walking your pet, you accept that you won't be refunded. If MochiiPetServices creator does not share a photo of your pet or a photo of residence within an hour of the time the walk/drop-in ends or the time of cancellation as proof you will hold less responsibility because you will most likely see it as fraudulent and receive a 10 percent refund instead.

For pet walks between 11:05am-9pm

• If you cancel at (day before pet walk/pet/plant drop-in) 10:10pm-12am (day of pet walk/pet/plant drop-in) you’ll get a 90 percent refund.

• If you cancel anywhere from (day of pet walk/pet/plant drop-in) 12:01am-5am you’ll get a 60 percent refund.

• If you cancel between (day of pet walk/pet/plant drop-in) 5:01am-9am you’ll receive a 40 percent refund.

• If you cancel between 2 hours and 59 minutes - 1 hour before MochiiPetServices leaves for your residence you’ll receive a 30 percent refund.

• If you cancel 59 minutes - 20 minutes before MochiiPetServices leaves for your residence (up to 2 hours and 20 minutes before the walk) you’ll receive a 20 percent refund.

• If you cancel when MochiiPetServices has already boarded the bus, you'll only receive a 10 percent refund of the amount you paid regardless of the time before they will arrive. If MochiiPetServices does not share a screenshot of their Google Map within 2 hours of cancellation you will hold less responsibility because you will most likely see it as fraudulent information and receive a 25 percent refund instead.

• If you cancel when MochiiPetServices is already at my residence and/or walking my pet, you accept that you won't be refunded. If MochiiPetServices does not share a photo of my pet at the time the walk/drop-in ends as proof you will hold less responsibility because you will most likely see it as fraudulent information and receive a 10 percent refund instead.

If MochiiPetServices cancels before 11:00pm the day before the pet walk/drop-in you will get a full refund.

For pet walks between 8am-11am:

• If MochiiPetServices cancels anywhere from (day of petwalk) 12:01am-5am you'll receive a 110 percent refund.

• If they cancel between 5:01am-3 hours before the pet walk/drop-in you'll receive a 130 percent refund.

• If they cancel within 2 hours and 59 minutes to an hour before a pet walk/drop-in you will receive a 150 percent refund.

For pet walks between 11:05am-9pm

• If they cancel anywhere from 12:01am-5am you will receive a 110 percent refund.

• If they cancel between 5:01am-8:25am you'll receive a 130 percent refund

• If they cancel within 2 hours and 40 minutes to an hour before a pet walk/drop-in you will receive a 150 percent refund.

The only exception is if an extreme weather case hits and you or MochiiPetServices cancel due to the spiked temperature such as a huge heatwave of over 90 degrees or a snowstorm of under 40 degrees for example. If such happens you accept that you will get 90 percent refund regardless of time (unless its before 10pm, then full refund regardless) and that if MochiiPetServices cancels you will receive an 110 percent refund if before 12am. In cases where MochiiPetServices is extremely sick, throwing up, physically unable to move, and/or in the ER or hospital due to being sick you will receive an 110 percent refund regardless of the time of cancellation due to it being out of MochiiPetServices' control. They will send whatever proof is possible if requested. you accept that they will not walk/drop-in for your pet if the harness doesn't fit and isn't adjustable, there isn't a leash, there isn't a harness (or is a face harness or muzzle), the leash is frayed, the leash is thin like string or weak rope, etc, and that you will not be refunded for putting your pet in danger. You accept that if MochiiPetServices has covid that they will cancel immediately in order to rest up until they receive a negative covid test result and the cancellation fee will be 110 percent regardless of time as well as either physical or screenshotted proof of the test.

​• Note: MochiiPetServices only cancels within a short period for emergency situations. 

Cancellations for pet sitting at any length/drop-ins longer than 3 days

MochiiPetServices rarely cancels sooner than 2 days from the situated sitting time. The only time this would happen is if someone close to them passed away (including pets, family, and friends), an extreme health emergency (including throwing up, being in too much pain to move, having covid, etc.), buses being unusable in case they aren’t operating, extreme weather conditions (weather over 100 degrees when the walking distance is over 10 minutes straight, ash falling from the sky with dangerous breathing levels, temperatures under 30 degrees when the walking distance is over 15 minutes in one sitting, and other big emergency weather horrors like tornados), and an aggressive pet physically harming them above a 2/5 or harming them more than once regardless of the number.

After a booking is situated neither party can cancel within a 3 day period without paying a fee. The refund you recieve is the lower looking percentage between the two in each sentence below, the higher percentage is the refund you recieve plus funds from the pet caregiver if they cancel within the times listed. 

If providing services and you cancel you recieve a full refund of whatever days MochiiPetServices has not provided services. If MochiiPetServices cancels while providing services based on specific circumstances you will be refunded accordingly. 

If your pet has not been listed in your booking form as aggresively playful and ends up hurting the person playing with them (as listed in the severity chart at the bottom of this Terms and Conditions) you will get refunded 

If within 24 hours before first booked day: 35% refund for pet owner and 150% of initial booking price given to pet owner.

If between 24-48 hours before first booked day: 50% refund for pet owner and 140% of initial booking price given to pet owner.

If between 48-72 hours before first booked day 75% refund for pet owner and 125%  of initial booking price given to pet owner.

If past 72 hours before first booked day an 100% refund is guaranteed.

The only exception is if an extreme weather case hits and you or MochiiPetServices cancel due to weather conditions that shut the bus routes down. If such happens you accept that you will get 90 percent refund regardless of time cancelled unless its past 3 days before the booking starts in which case you recieve an 100% refund. In cases where MochiiPetServices is extremely sick, throwing up, physically unable to move, and/or in the ER or hospital due to being sick you will receive an 110 percent refund regardless of the time of cancellation due to it being out of MochiiPetServices' control. They will send whatever proof is possible if requested. You accept that they will not walk your pet if the harness provided doesn't fit and isn't adjustable, there isn't a leash, there isn't a harness (or is a face harness or muzzle), the leash is frayed, the leash is thin like string or weak rope, etc, and that your pet will not be provided with walks in this case. MochiiPetServices will clean up any messes your pet causes as long as cleaning supplies are provided or if they aren't MochiiPetServices has the right to look through areas such as your kitchen to find such supplies and such messes aren't extreme such as broken furniture. You accept that if MochiiPetServices has covid that they will cancel immediately in order to rest up until they receive a negative covid test result and the cancellation fee will be 110 percent regardless of time as well as either physical or photographed proof of the test

  • Hair getting ripped out by your pets claws or teeth.

  • TBI - a type of traumatic brain injury such as a concussion that is caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or a hit to the body that causes the head and brain to rapidly move back and forth.

  • Nerve damage, such as loss of cognitive function or control over limbs. Also known as neuropathy. Crush injury by being slammed into by your pet pulling more than predicted and/or weighing more than listed or by being slammed into something hard enough by your pet lunging to be considered a crush injury. A compression injury can be categorized by broken bones and bone spurs, ankle, knee or wrist sprains, dislocated joints such as a dislocated shoulder or elbow, and accidents and trauma.

  • Being knocked unconscious by your pet through blood loss.

  • Your pet biting me hard enough to take out chunks of flesh, anything over an inch circumference.

To pay the costs you can do a few things. 1. Pay in full, 2. Pay in weekly increments, or 3. Pay in monthly increments.

Paying in weekly increments will be between 1 and 6 months from the date of the incident starting immediately. This would be 5% of the total cost weekly at 6 months. You must cover the recovery time but compensation is important due to lack of my ability to work depending on severity. If you pay in monthly increments you must pay in full in 6 months, past then is an extra 5 percent, every 6 months 5 percent is added. The amount paid in full monthly would be 16.66% for 6 months to not have to pay more than the original amount owed. For example if you pay 10% for 10 months you have to pay an extra 0.5% per month.

Weather Terms and Conditions

  1. You understand the risks associated with letting your pet be in weather fit unsafe by the facts and safety measures stated in this agreement. All temperatures listed in this website are in Fahrenheit. MochiiPetServices is not liable for vet bills or risk of injury or potential death from these stated occurances:​​​​​

  2. All weather statuses as listed in the Pet Service page under the specific service (such as Walks) must be followed. If they aren't, MochiiPetServices will not be liable to any injury due to the weather (even indirect such as infections or due to heatstroke). 

  3. If MochiiPetServices walks your pet outside in weather over specifications listed under the specific service page or a temperature above the listed maximum or below the minimum temperature they are not liable for any health risks or pet deaths associated with weather. 

  4. MochiiPetServices is not liable for any heatstroke or heat based injuries your pet experiences if over the limit that MochiiPetServices has stated, whether that's the humidity, temperature, or walk time affiliated with outside temperatures.

  5. MochiiPetServices is not liable for any rain induced sicknesses on wet days if you do not provide any towels or your pet gets completely soaked and MochiiPetServices can't dry them off entirely with the towel (if provided).

  6. On windy days with wind surpassing 24 miles per hour MochiiPetServices is not liable for any injuries or deaths including branches falling, loose power cords swinging in the wind (MochiiPetServices is extremely cautious but things still happen), and eye infections caused by dust clouds from the wind.

  7. Weather pricing is as follows: 

    1. If the weather forecast (http://weather.com for Portland, Oregon) states that rainfall is between 1/5 (.20) - 1/3 (.33) of an inch of rain for the day scheduled for a pet walking service and/or more than .05 of an inch of rain within the exact time your pet is walked please book the version of your service that has Weather listed as the first word. Pricing will be increased by 15% usual pet walking price. The only pets that MochiiPetServices will walk in this range of rain are dogs and the longest time this can go for is dependent on the specific level of rain. Travel time past 30 minutes increases 20% the initial travel cost. 

Other Concerns

   1. If you believe Mochi Dryad from MochiiPetServices has stolen something from your household if you can provide proof, specifically visual evidence such as a video of them stealing your item(s) they will be held liable for anything missing from your residence. 

Items that cannot be considered stolen are doggy bags (unless stated yours aren't for me to use), pet treats (unless stated these aren't provided), tap water, bathroom use (specifically the sink, toilet, used hand soap, toilet paper provided, and hand sanitizer), or fridge water, offered food or drink with either a note or messaged permission, and any items offered to Mochi Dryad with messaged proof specifying what is given to them. 

   2. If leaving a cash tip within your residence at any point please provide a hand written note signed by you with your full name listed or a texted message. Otherwise MochiiPetServices cannot accept it.

   3. Mochi Dryad from MochiiPetServices may provide presents during holidays or birthdays with permission for members which includes: a gift card to their services, discounted or free services, and/or Star Points. Please be sure to add these details in the form before booking.
